SOUTH SIDE SCHOLARSHIP CHILI COOK-OFF
Each year in March, the MVA hosts a neighborhood Chili Cook-Off to raise funds for our South Side Education Fund which benefits South High School students! This event is held on the first Saturday in March from 12 to 2 PM!
2026 CHILI COOK-OFFIt’s time again for one of our most beloved annual events! Join us for the 2026 Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, March 7th from 12 to 2 PM, supporting the South Side Education Fund. Bring your family and friends and of course, your chili!
The MVA will provide tasting cups, utensils, and chili toppings. Due to space limitations, toppings will not be placed with the chili pots and will instead be available in a separate area. Admission for Tasting - $10 for adults - $5 for kids 10 and under Taste lots of delicious chili and vote for your favorites! All proceeds benefit the South Side Education Fund, supporting students at South High School. Winners will be crowned in the meat, vegetarian, and overall categories and will earn prizes and serious bragging rights.
