The Merion Village Association

WHO WE ARE
The Merion Village Association was founded by a group of neighborhood residents in 1985. We are a diverse group of concerned and active residents of the historic neighborhood known as Merion Village. The Association seeks to engage residents in activities that can assist in improving the lives of those within the neighborhood and to encourage friendships and goodwill among members and neighbors. The MVA holds public meetings on the first Wednesday of each month (except in December when the meeting is replaced with a community potluck), beginning promptly at 7 PM. Meetings are now hosted virtually. All interested individuals are welcome and encouraged to MVA public meetings.

OUR MISSION
The Mission of the Merion Village Association is to create a safe, clean and friendly place to live by implementing ideas, events and strategies that are for the good of all residents, businesses and visitors, while maintaining the historical value of the neighborhood.

WHAT WE DO
The Merion Village Association is a very active civic organization that, in addition to getting together monthly to discuss ideas, issues, events and changes related to our community.

MVA MEMBERSHIP

Anyone interested in the neighborhood is eligible to join our association. Residents and businesses within the Merion Village boundaries who are members of the association will be entitled to voting privileges in all MVA elections and on various issues. Membership in the Association is maintained on a one-year basis. The deadline for membership renewal is one year from the date of the member’s initial registration or from the date of the member’s last membership renewal. Members who renew later than one year from the date of their initial registration or their last membership renewal will be subject to the seven (7) day waiting period to vote. Residential and Business membership options are available as outlined below:

RESIDENTIAL MEMBERSHIPS (1-Year Term / Requires Annual Renewal)
  • Individual (1 Individual Age 18-59) | $20
  • Senior (1 Individual Age 60 or Over) | $15

BUSINESS MEMBERSHIPS (1-Year Term / Requires Annual Renewal)
  • Bronze | $50
  • Silver | $150
  • Gold | $300
  • Platinum | $500
